I’ll also discuss the doctrines of UNJUST ENRICHMENT, CONSTRUCTIVE TRUST, and RESULTING TRUST – which all doctrines based on equity which can be used by a party to claim that they are entitled to certain property.
In this blog, I’ll review some examples of how courts have applied the doctrines of unjust enrichment, resulting trust, and constructive trust to actual real life cases.
Here I discuss how non-married spouses use EQUITABLE doctrines such as UNJUST ENRICHMENT, CONSTRUCTIVE and RESULTING TRUST to try to create interests, rights and entitlements to the other spouse’s property.
