Law Firm SEO Update…

These past few weeks, I’ve learned more about law firm SEO than in the past year. I’m more adventurous these days. I’ve been trying out new techniques and software to figure out “what works best”. I’ve been buying and reading up on the latest and greatest law firm SEO techniques. Some have been working great (traffic is at an all-time high), while others are not so great (I’ve actually stopped subscribing to services after a few days of trying them out). The most important thing I’ve learned is that you need to have a strategy and a solid team to execute that strategy. All the tools and tactics in the worlds won’t get you very far in getting high rankings unless you know what your goal is and work towards it. I read long time ago that you need to work on your law firm SEO for at least 2 hours a day. At first, I thought that was a joke. But now I realize that, if you want to have real results, then you need to put in the time and effort required. Granted, there are shortcuts you can take (some which will get you banned on Google and Yahoo and some which will help you rise to the top). You need to know which ones to avoid and which ones are worthwhile. But you don’t have the time for that. So just call me. I’ve dedicated the past few years learning the internet’s best kept secrets. I’ve studied the art and science of law firm seo and I can help you to achieve your goals. It won’t happen overnight but, with enough grease behind the wheel (whatever that means), you’ll be able to get somewhere. For example, did you notice that, over the past few weeks (however inconsistent), I was targeting the very competitive keywords “Toronto personal injury lawyers”? I went from page 8 on Google to Page 2 on Google in a matter of days. But then I got busy with practicing law and haven’t really had the time to focus on it again. Once I finish a few things here and there, however, I’ll be dedicating some of my extra Google Juice to those keywords to see if I can crack open the 1st page of Google (this is really tough). I’ve been told it’s a waste of time to try to compete with the big Toronto personal injury law firms, who have developed a strong and immovable presence over the past few years. So do I really stand a chance? We’ll see…so far, I’ve been able to surpass many of those same firms by taking the 6th position in page 2 with my law firm SEO strategy and execution. Time will tell whether it pays off. I won’t consider myself successful until I get to page 1… Who knows? Perhaps when I’m done this little self-challenge I put out for myself, I’ll write another Law Firm SEO eBook about my experience. Will I actually share my secrets? Maybe…but probably not.
